The location of the hostel in the middle of the Hutong area was really cool and gave us a unique experience of Beijing. Another great aspect was the comfortable beds and the air conditioning in the room, which made for a comfortable sleep during the warm days.
The spotty wifi in the hostel. Although it was available in the hallway, it would have been better if it reached the rooms as well.

Our stay at this hostel was great! The staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help. They even gave us a leaflet with the Chinese address of the hostel, which was really handy. The tea and coffee facilities were available all day, which was a nice touch. We also loved the fact that beer on tap was only 15cny and it was buy one get one free!
There were a couple of minor issues during our stay. the breakfast was only available from 7am to 9am, which was quite early for us.

the location was perfect for exploring the city as it was close to major tourist attractions. the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the free breakfast which had a variety of options.
The shared bathroom was not the cleanest and the water in the shower was either cold or boiling hot.

The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to assist us with directions and recommendations for sightseeing in the area. The hostel's location was also a major plus, just a short walk away from public transportation, grocery stores, and numerous restaurants. the free wifi in our room was reliable and the beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The condition of the bathrooms, which were a bit old and run down. The layout of the shower, toilet, and sink in one room made it difficult to keep everything dry.

Friendly staff offering delicious Western food, various services, and comfy common room to meet others. Convenient subway and heater in shower, along with refreshing aircon.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and close to all the key attractions. It made it really easy to explore the city and get around. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer any questions and provide recommendations on places to visit. One more advantage that I enjoyed was the comfortable bed in the room. It made for a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring.
The hotel was quite old and run down. It could definitely use some renovations to improve the overall appearance.

The staff at this hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my new year experience even more enjoyable. They spoke excellent English and were always willing to go above and beyond to assist me with any queries or requests. The location of the hostel was also fantastic - it was close to the railway station and conveniently located near the subway, which made exploring the city a breeze. the communal areas were cozy and inviting, with free access to computers and internet, as well as a wide-screen TV and a selection of DVDs.
One aspect that I didn't particularly enjoy about this hostel was the rock-hard beds. As someone who is used to a softer mattress, it was a bit challenging to get a good night's sleep.

My partner and I stayed at the Lucky Family Hostel for a week, and we absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, especially with the hidden gem of a gin bar right next door. The staff was incredibly friendly and spoke good English, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms and the big windows that let in plenty of natural light. The air conditioning worked well, and having a kettle in the room was a nice touch. The beds were super comfortable, and even though our original room wasn't available, the staff went above and beyond to make up for it. We also appreciated the option to store our luggage after check-out. The common areas were cozy, and the WiFi worked well throughout.
I highly recommend this hotel.
